κατάμακτος: -ον, (καταμάσσω), κατ. τύπος, κατάμακτον σῶμα γυναικός, κατάμακτα ὦτα· ἐν ταῖς ἀναγραφαῖς τῶν ἀναθημάτων τοῦ Ἀθήνησιν Ἀσκληπιείου (Κουμαν.)= ἐκμαγεῖα, ὁμοιώματα ἢ εἰδώλια τῶν τοιούτων πραγμάτων, οἷα καὶ νῦν ἐν τοῖς τῶν δυτικῶν ναοῖς ἀναθήματα παρατηροῦνται, ἂν καὶ τὸ ῥ. καταμάσσειν δὲν εὑρέθη ἐπὶ τῆς σημασίας ταύτης.
