ἄγουρος: ὁ, νεανίας, Βυζ. (Παρὰ Θρᾳξίν, οἱ κυριευθέντες ἔφηβοι Εὐστ. Λέων Γραμμ. σ. 460, ἴδε, μῆτερ, οἷον ἄγουρον νῦν ἐπελαβόμην. Ἄννα Κομν. βιβλ. 6, Ἀλεξιάδ. σ. 205 ἐνετείλατο συμπαραλαβεῖν μεθ’ ἑαυτοῦ τούς τε ἀνδρειωμένους τῶν ἀγούρων. Ἐκ τοῦ ἄγουρος ἴσως παρήχθη τὸ κοινολεκτούμενον ἀγόρι, ὅπερ ἀπαντᾷ καὶ παρὰ τῷ Πτωχοπροδρόμῳ. «Ἂν ἔχω γείτοναν τινά, κ’ ἔχει παιδὶν ἀγόριν.» Ἴδε Δουκάγγ. σ. 17 ἐν λέξει ἄγουροι, καὶ Κοραῆ Ἄτακτ. τόμ.
