relinguish: P. and V. ἀφίστασθαι (gen.), ἀφιέναι, ἀνιέναι (acc. or gen.), μεθιέναι, ἐξίστασθαι (gen.), μεθίστασθαι (gen.).
dismiss: P. and V. χαίρω ἐᾶν, χαίρειν ἐᾶν (acc.).
reject: P. and V. ἀπωθεῖν (or mid.); see reject.
