P. and V. ἀγγέλλειν, ἀπαγγέλλειν, ἐξαγγέλλειν, διαγγέλλειν, ἐκφέρειν.

Announce to some one within: P. and V. εἰσαγγέλλειν.

Proclaim: P. and V. κηρύσσειν, ἀνακηρύσσειν, προκηρύσσειν, προειπεῖν, ἀνειπεῖν, Ar. and P. ἀναγορεύειν, V. ἐκκηρύσσειν; see proclaim.

Declare: P. and V. σημαίνειν, προσημαίνειν, V. προὐννέπειν, γεγωνεῖν, γεγωνίσκειν, προφωνεῖν, ἐκβάζειν, Ar. and V. θροεῖν.

Announce beforehand: P. προαγγέλλειν, προεξαγγέλλειν.
