ὀροβάγχη: ἢ ὀροβάκχη (ὡς γράφει αὐτὸ ὁ Ἡσύχ.), ἡ, παράσιτόν τι φυτόν, ὅπερ φαίνεται ἐκ τοῦ Θεοφρ. π. Φυτ. Ἱστ. 8. 8, 4, ὅτι εἶναι τὸ φυτὸν cuscula ἀλλὰ ἐκ τοῦ Διοσκ. 2. 172, φαίνεται ὅτι εἶναι τὸ πνῖγον τὸν ὄροβον, orobanche, ὅπερ νῦν κατὰ τὸν Sibthorp ὀνομάζεται λύκος. - Ἀλλὰ ὀρόβακχος, ὁ, ἐν Νικ.
