   A = Τῠφωεύς (q.v.).    II as Appellat. τῡφώς, gen. τυφῶ A.Ag.656; dat. τυφῷ Ar.Lys.974 (anap.) (but later writers used the form τυφῶν, ῶνος, v. Τυφῶν 11.1):—whirlwind, typhoon, ll. cc., S.Ant.418.
