A breath, εἰς ὅ κ' ἀ. ἐν στήθεσσι μένη Il.9.609; τεῖρε δ' ἀ. Ἡφαίστοιο the fiery breath of Hephaistos, 21.366; ὅσσον πυρὸς ἵκετ' ἀ.
