   A attendance, care, Hom., etc.; in Il., of care bestowed on horses, 8.186, 23.411; in Od., of care bestowed on men, 8.453, 14.124; also, care bestowed on a garden, οὐ πρασιή τοι ἄνευ κομιδῆς κατὰ κῆπον 24.247, cf. 245: hence dat. κομιδῇ used as Adv. (q.v.).    2 provision, supplies, ἐπεὶ οὐ κ. κατὰ νῆα ἦεν ἐπηετανός 8.232.    II carriage, conveyance, esp. of supplies and provisions, τῶν ἐπιτηδείων τὴν περὶ τὴν Πελοπόννησον κ.
