ἡ, contr. from σησαμέα (which occurs in Hdn.Gr.2.425),

   A a mixture of sesame-seeds, roasted and pounded with honey, an Athenian delicacy, given to guests at a wedding, Ar.Pax 869, Men.938; in pl., Amphis 9.3; wrongly written σησάμη in Hp.Int.42, etc.
