   A barricade, block, τὴν ὁδόν τισι Plu.2.548d:—Pass., to be screened, ἀντιπεφραγμένος λαμπτήρ lantern, Philist. 15; τόπος ὑπὸ τῆς γῆς -φραττόμενος Plu.Nic.23.    II c. dat., stand in the way of, τῷ ἀέρι Arist.Juv.470a13, cf. Pr.929a38; esp. of a body intercepting the sun's light, ὅσοις ἀντιφράττει ἡ γῆ ὥστε μὴ ὁρᾶσθαι ὑπὸ τοῦ ἡλίου . .
