Pass., dub. sens., Ar.V.674 ἐκ κηθαρίου λαγαριζόμενον, expld. by Sch. τὰ λαγαρὰ ἐσθίοντα, ὅ ἐστιν εὔθραυστα καὶ εὐτελῆ τινα, i.e.

   A getting a poor living out of the ballot-box.    II prob. scrape, Pherecr.121.    III jog or nudge with the elbow, = σκαλεύειν, Hsch. (v.l. λαγαρυζόμενον in Ar.l.c., λαγυριζόμενοι in Pherecr. l.c.).    B intr. in Act., of the pulse, Archig. ap. Gal.8.662.
