Greek (Liddell-Scott)

ἀκράτιστος: [κρᾱ], ον, εἶναι ἡ τῶν χειρογράφων γραφὴ ἐν Θεοκρ. 1. 51, πρὶν ἢ ἀκράτιστον ἐπὶ ξηροῖσι καθίξῃ, ἣν ὑπερασπίζει ὁ Ἕρμαννος, ὅστις ἑρμηνεύει ἀκράτιστον ἐπὶ ξηροῖσι = ἀφοῦ ἔλαβε ξηρὸν πρόγευμα (δηλ. οὐδὲν πρόγευμα). Ἂν ταύτην τὴν γραφὴν δεχθῶμεν, τὸ ἐπὶ ξηροῖσι πρέπει νὰ συναφθῇ πρὸς τὸ καθίξῃ καὶ νὰ ἑρμηνευθῇ = πρὶν καθίσῃ αὐτὸν ἐπὶ ξηροῦ ἐδάφους τ. ἔ. πρὶν καταστήσῃ αὐτὸν ἐνδεᾶ καὶ ἐστερημένον παντός: - οὕτω ἐπὶ τῆς αὐτῆς σημασίας: ἐπ’ οὔδεϊ φῶτα καθίσσαι, Ὕμ.
