I a town in Hispania Tarraconensis, now Huesca, in Aragon, Vell. 2, 30, 1; Flor. 3, 22, 9.—Hence, Oscensis, e, adj., of or belonging to Osca, a town of Spain, Oscan: ager, Varr. R. R. 1, 57: argentum, with the Oscan stamp, Liv. 34, 10. —In <number opt="n">plur.</number>: Oscenses, ĭum, m., the inhabitants of Osca, the Oscans, Caes. B. C. 1, 60; Plin. 3, 3, 4, § 24.
