Sallustĭus: or Salustĭus, ii, m.,
I Sallust, a Roman name.

A. 3, 30; Quint. 2, 5, 19; 10, 1, 101.—Hence, Sallustĭānus (Salust-), a, um, adj., of or like Sallust, Sallustian: illa brevitas, Quint. 4, 2, 45; 10, 1, 32: lectio, Gell. 18, 4, 1.—Subst.: Sallustĭānus, i, m., an imitator of Sallust, Sen. Ep. 114, 17: Sallustianum illud, that expression of Sallust, Gell. 10, 26, 9.—Hence, adv.: Sallustĭā-nē, in the manner of Sallust, Prisc. 1022 P —
