A earthen vessel for water, E.Fr.592 (anap., = Critias Fr.17 D.), Pamphil. ap. Ath.11.496a, Poll.10.74; used on the last day of the Eleusinian mysteries, which were hence called αἱ πλημοχόαι, Ath.l.c., Hsch.
