αὐτόνοος: -ον, συνῃρ. -νους, ουν, ὁ ἰδίαν ἔχων θέλησιν, ἰσχυρογνώμων, ἐπίμονος, αὐτόνῳ γνώμᾳ Αἰσχύλ. Πρ. 543, κατὰ Δινδ. άντὶ ἰδίᾳ γνώμᾳ, ὅπερ παραβιάζει τὸ μέτρον. 2) ἐπὶ τῶν πλοίων τῶν Φαιάκων, ἅπερ καθ’ Ὅμηρον εἶχον νοημοσύνην τινά. Εὐστ. 1153. 32, ὑπονοουμένης πως καὶ τῆς νύμφης Αὐτονόης.
