   A wild olive-tree, Ar.Av.621 (anap.), Pl.943; τοὺς νικῶντας στεφανώσας κοτίνου στεφάνῳ (sc. at Olympia) ib.586, cf. AP9.357, Thphr.HP4.13.2; τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἀπὸ τοῦ κ. IG11(2).287 A22 (Delos, iii B. C.): distd.from ἀγριελαία by Sch.Pl.Phdr.236b (in neut. κότινον, τό), but identified by Dsc.1.105. (In Ar.Pl.592 the v.l. κοτίνῳ στεφάνῳ may point to κοτινῷ dat. of Adj. κοτινοῦς.)
