I the name of two cities on the coast of Africa.
I Leptis Magna, situated on the Great Syrtis, now Lebdah, Mel. 1, 7, 5; Plin. 5, 4, 3, § 25; Sall. J. 19, 3; 77, 1; Dig. 50, 15, 8, § 11.—Hence,
