   A to be set over against, τινί Archyt. ap. Stob.4.1.138.    2 mostly of armies or fleets, lie over against, so as to watch each other, ἡμέραι σφι ἀντικατημένοισι ἐγεγόνεσαν ὀκτώ Hdt.9.39, cf. 41, Th.5.6, X.Eq.Mag.8.12, etc.: metaph., λόγος ἀ. τινι S.E.M.1.145.
