(sc. ὀδόντες) the grinners, i. e. the front teeth, which show when one laughs, Poll.2.91.    2 mostly pl., dimples, which appear in the cheeks when persons laugh, Mart.7.25 (sg.), Choerob. in An.Ox.2.188; also of dimples in the hinder parts, Alciphr.1.39, AP5.34 (Rufin.).
