   A fall in with, light upon, meet with, c.dat., ἐνέκυρσε φάλαγξι Il.13.145; ἐγκύρσας ἀάτῃσιν Hes.Op.216; ὁκοίοις ἐγκυρέωσιν ἔργμασι Archil.70; ἐγκύρσαις (Aeol. aor. 1 part.) ἑκατονταετεῖ βιοτᾷ Pi.P.4.282, cf. 1.100; δύᾳ B.Fr.21; τμητοῖς ὁλκοῖς ἐγκῦρσαι S.El.863 (lyr.); στρατῷ ἐνέκυρσε ἀμφοτέρῃσι τῇσι μοίρῃσι Hdt.4.125; ἐνεκύρησαν στρατῷ Id.7.218, cf.
