   A dash against, ἐνέχραυεν ἐς τὸ πρόσωπον τὸ σκῆπτρον Hdt.6.75; κυνόδοντά τισι Nic. l. c.    II Pass., ἦσαν δὲ πρός τινας καὶ ἄλλους ἐγκεχρημένοι (sc. πόλεμοι) there were wars undertaken... Hdt.7.145 (prob. f.l. for ἐγκεκρημένοι).
