   A broken in pieces, αἰγανέαι AP6.163 (Mel.).    II = περιηγής (q. v.), round, τρύπανον ib.204 (Leon.); σχῆμα π. ὡς κύρτου Plu.2.494b ; ὅλμος Androm. ap. Gal.14.38 ; of the rounded front of the vertebrae, Ruf. Oss.24.    2 bent, opp. εὐθύς, Ph.Bel.52.32, 62.8; π. ἠρέμα χωρίον gently curving, Dion.Byz.28, cf. Porph.in Harm.p.21 D.
