   A heap of slain, ἐν αἰνῇσιν νεκάδεσσιν Il.5.886, cf. Ps.-Luc.Philopatr.10.    II simply, = τάξις, in pl., ranks, Call. Fr.231.    III in pl., the dead, ἄναξ νεκάδων Ἀϊδωνεύς AP15.40.43 (Cometas), cf. EM600.9.
