   A bring a ship to her moorings, bring to shore, in Med., ἀμφὶ ταύτην θῖνα AP7.636 (Crin.):—Med. and Pass., come to anchor, ἐς [λιμένα] Th.4.8:—in Med. also, = ἐφορμέω, -ορμιούμενος τοῖς πολεμίοις App.BC5.108.    II intr. in Act., seek refuge in, [ἔλαφοι] ποταμοῖσιν ἐφώρμισαν AP9.244 (Apollonid.), cf. 254 (Phil.).
