Aj.1175; κλάδοι Id.OT3; ἱκτήριοι,= ἱκέται, ib.327; φωτῶν ἱκτήρια, = φῶτας ἱκτηρίους, Id.OC923.    II ἱκετηρία, poet. ἱκτηρία, Ion. ἱκετηρίη (sc. ῥάβδος), ἡ, olive-branch which the suppliant held in his hand as a symbol of his condition, λευκοστεφεῖς ἱκτηρίας A.Supp.192; ἱκετηρίην λαβεῖν, φέρειν, Hdt.5.51, 7.141; ἱκετηρίαν ἔχειν Ar.Pl.383; καταθεῖναι ἐν τῷ Ἐλευσινίῳ And.1.110, cf.
