Kriegszustand, bellum. – ein halber K., pax similis belli: im K. sein, in bello esse (im Kriege begriffen sein, auch v. Provinzen etc.); bellum habere, mit jmd., cum alqo (Krieg haben, v. Pers.); bellum gerere, mit jmd., cum alqo u. contra od. adversus od. in alqm (Krieg führen, v. Pers.): beständig im K. sein, semper armatum esse.
