τούτων γάρ ἑκάτερον κοινῷ ὀνόματι προσαγορεύεται ζῷον, καί ὁ λόγος δέ τῆς οὐσίας ὁ αὐτός → and these are univocally so named, inasmuch as not only the name, but also the definition, is the same in both cases (Aristotle, Categoriae 1a8-10)

corrupt in A.Ag.985; Ahrens' emend. (ψαμμὶς ἀκτά for ψαμμιὰς ἀκάτα) would suit the metre.

Greek (Liddell-Scott)

ἀκάτα: παρεφθαρμένη λέξις ἐν Αἰσχύλ. Ἀγ. 985· τοῦ Ahrens ἡ διόρθωσις (ψαμμὶς ἀκτὰ ἀντὶ ψαμμιὰς ἀκάτα) ἁρμόζει εἰς τὸ μέτρον.
