With adv.: P. and V. παρέχειν ἑαυτόν with adj., γίγνεσθαι with adj.

Behave bravely: παρέχειν ἑαυτόν ἀνδρεῖον or γίγνεσθαι ἀνδρεῖος.

Behave towards a person: P. and V. χρῆσθαι (τινι) , προσφέρεσθαί (τινι or πρός τινα).

Absol. P. and V. ἔχειν.
