   A working in the mountains: ὀρειτύποι, acc. to Gal. 17(2).49, were wood-cutters and quarry-men, who brought down materials from the mountains :—so ὀρεοτύποι, Thphr. HP3.3.7, 3.12.4, al. (but ὀρει- CP5.11.3) ; ὀροιτύποι, Nic.Th.5,377, AP7.445 (Pers.), Eleg.Alex.Adesp.1.6 ; cf. also ὀροτύπος.
