I a village in Upper Italy, between Verona and Cremona, distinguished in the civil war by two important battles between Otho, Vitellius, and the generals of Vespasian, now Cividale; form Bedriacum, Tac. H. 2, 23, 39 sq.; 2, 23, 44; 2, 23, 49; 2, 3, 15; 2, 3, 20; 2, 3, 31.—Form Bebriacum, Juv. 2, 106; Oros. 7, 8.—Form Betriacum, Suet. Oth. 9; Aur. Vict.
