αὐξηρός: -όν, εἰ ἡ γραφὴ ἔχει ὑγιῶς ἐν Νικάνδρ. Ἀλεξιφ. 588, πρέπει να σημαίνῃ τὸν τελείως ηὐξημένον, «τὸν μέγαν» ὡς ἑρμηνεύει καὶ ὁ Σχολ., ἀλλ’ ἴσως ἦτο αὖ ξηρῶν, διότι ὁ Σχολιαστ. προστίθησι καὶ τὴν ἑρμηνείαν «ἢ ξηρῶν, τῶν αὐχμηρῶν».
