   A the finest flour or meal, Ar.Nu.262; π. ἀλφίτων Apollon. ap. Gal. 12.502, v.l. in Dsc.3.39: metaph., λέγειν γενήσει . . παιπάλη, i. e. a subtle talker, Ar.Nu.260, cf. sq. and πασπάλη.
