Theocrit. 1, 34 ἐθειράζοντες: κομῶντες τὰς τρίχας, οὐ γενειῶντες, ὥς τινες· ἔθειρα γὰρ ἡ τῆς κεφαλῆς θρίξ· ὅθεν Ἀριστοτέλης ἐν Ὁμήρῳ ἔγραψεν κυάνεαι δ' ἐγένοντο γενειάδες ἀμφὶ γένειον, οὐκ ἐθειράδες. Für Ἀριστοτέλης schreibt Lehrs Aristarch. ed. 2 p. 41. 115 Ἀρίσταρχος, gewiß mit Recht.
