ἤ ἀλινδῶ (=κυλίω, περιπλανιέμαι). Ἡ ρίζα εἶναι ἡ ἴδια μέ τή ρίζα αλ τοῦ ἀλέω. Παράγωγα ἀπό ἴδια ρίζα: ἀλίνδησις, ἀλινδήθρα (=κυλίστρα).
