[Seite 942] ἡ, wie ψῆφος, Steinchen, bes. in Flüssen, Kiesel, Schol. Ap. Rh. 2, 1176, auch στῖον, VLL. (s. πολύστιος). Die Unkenntniß der Länge des ι machte, daß Sp. στεία, στεῖον schrieben. Es ist vielleicht nur mundartlich von ψιά verschieden.
