   A μύξω D.L.10.118: aor. ἔμυξα Men.81:—make the sound μὺ μῦ, mutter, moan, A.Eu.118; μ. οἰκτισμὸν make a piteous moaning, ib.189: hence to denote displeasure, murmur, growl, Ar.Th.231; of the noise made by the dolphin, Arist.HA535b32; rumble, ἐπὶ τοῖσι σπλάγχνοισι μύζει Hp.Morb.2.55: impers., ἔμυζεν ἐν τῇ γαστρί Id.Epid.5.6: pf., μεμυζότε μυδαλέω τε Antim.90.
