ες, dub. sens. in Hp.Epid.4.30 (cf. φολιδώδης),

   A full of cavities, spongy, acc. to Gal.19.153; scabby, acc. to Erot., who has φόλλιξ, ικος, ἡ, in sense of a scab, leprous sore.

φολλικώδης: -ες, (εἶδος) παρ’ Ἱππ., ὅπερ κατὰ τὸν Γαλην. = θυλακώδης, «φολλικώδεα· τὰ οἰονεὶ θυλακώδεα καὶ σομφὰ» (Γαλην. Ἱππ. Γλωσσ. Ἐξήγ. 592), ἐν ᾧ ὁ Ἐρωτιαν. (σ. 384) ἑρμηνεύει: «φολλικώδη, τὰ ἐφιλλώδη καὶ λεπρώδη. οἱ γὰρ παλαιοὶ φόλλικας ἐκάλουν τὰς ψωρώδεις τραχύτητας».
