   A -έψησα SIG1171.16 (Lebena):—boil together, [κράμβῃ] τὰ λιπαρὰ τῶν κρεῶν Dsc.2.122, cf. PHolm.21.33, etc.; of the coction of humours, Hp.VM19 (Pass.); of digestion, Id.Vict.3.79; of urine retained and heating in the bladder, Id.Aër.9; of heat, cause to ferment, Thphr.CP1.21.2 (Pass.), etc.:—Pass., to be boiled together, Arist.Fr.110, Luc.JTr.30, Sor.2.13, Gal.13.39; to be boiled or smelted with, χαλκῷ Arist.Mir.835a11; κρέασι Thphr.HP9.18.2.--The pres. συνεψέω occurs in late writers, Gal.Vict.Att.115, Id.15.692, Aret.CA 1.2 (Pass.), Alex.Trall.Febr.3, Gp.8.36.2; cf. ἕψω: aor. συνῆψας is corrupt in Timocl.21.4 (leg. αἷσιν ἧψες).
