Mantoulidis Etymological

(=τριαντάφυλλο). Ἀπό ρίζα ραδ- τοῦ ροδανός, ὅπου δές γιά ἄλλα παράγωγα ἀπό τήν ἴδια ρίζα. Ἀρχικά ἦταν ϝρόδον.
Παράγωγα: ροδίζω, ρόδινος, ροδόχρους, ροδωνιά (=κῆπος ἀπό τριαντάφυλλα).
