ἀρχιδαφνηφορέω: εἶμαι ὁ πρῶτος τῶν δαφνηφορούντων, Συλλ. Ἐπιγρ. 1766 ἐν τῷ Θεσσαλ. τύπῳ (;) ἀρχιδαυχναφορείσας. Ὁ Ἡσύχ. ἔχει λέξιν δαυχμόν, καὶ ἑρμηνεύει: «εὔκαυστον ξύλον δάφνης», πρβλ. καὶ σχόλ. εἰς Νίκανδρ.
