   A of a sheep, γάλα ὄ. ewe-milk, Hp.Vict.2.41 ; ὄϊον ἔριον Polem.Hist.88 ; οἰὸς οἰότερον more sheepish than a sheep, Sophr. 122 (v. dub.). (In Hp. and Polem.Hist.ll.cc. ὄειος (like βόειος) shd. be read ; cf. ὀέα.)
