   A set in motion by God (κέλλω), and so marvellous, wondrous, always of things, θ. ἔργα deeds or works of wonder, Il.3.130, Od.11.610; θέσκελα εἰδώς Call.Fr.anon.385: neut. Adv., ἔϊκτο δὲ θέσκελον αὐτῷ it was wondrous like him, Il.23.107; prob. taken by later poets as,= God-inspired (κελεύω), θ. Ἑρμῆς Coluth.126.
