ἀμφίκοχλος: -ον, Ἐπιφάν. 9. 229C. περὶ τῶν δώδεκα πολυτίμων λίθων, «ὁ μὲν γὰρ αὐτῶν (τῶν ἀμεθύστων) ἐστιν ὑακίνθῳ καθαρῷ παραπλήσιος, ὁ δὲ ἀμφικόχλῳ.» - Ὁ Πεταύϊος ἔγραψε: θαλασσίῳ κόχλῳ.
