I a doubling (very rare); humorously, for embracing, * Plaut. Poen. 5, 5, 18 (cf. id. Ps. 5, 1, 16).—As a figure of speech, a repetition of the same word, = ἐπαναδίπλωσις, Auct. Her. 4, 28, 38.
