(ϝρ., cf. frango), 3 pl. ῥηγνῦσι, ipf. iter. ῥήγνυσκε, fut. ῥήξω, aor. ἔρρηξα, ῥῆξε, mid. pres. imp. ῥήγνυσθε, aor. (ἐρ)ρήξαντο: break, burst, rend in twain, different from ἄγνῦμι.
