A flowery, of places, ἐν λειμῶνι Σκαμανδρίῳ ἀνθεμόεντι Il.2.467, cf. 695, B.12.88; ἐπ' ἀνθεμόεντι Ἕβρῳ on the flowery banks of Hebrus, 15.5. II of works in metal, adorned with flowers, λέβητ' ἄπυρον . . ἀ. Il.23.885; ἐν ἀ. λέβητι Od.3.440; κρητῆρα πανάργυρον ἀ. 24.275; embroidered, κύπασσις AP6.272 (Pers.).
