      laugh aloud: P. ἐκγελᾶν.

      burst out laughing: P. ἀνακαγχάζειν (Plato).

      laugh at: P. and V. γελᾶν; (ἐπί, dat., or dat. alone), καταγελᾶν (gen.), ἐπεγγελᾶν (dat.), V. ἐγγελᾶν; (dat., or κατά, gen.), διαγελᾶν (acc.).
