Ὠαρίων son of Hyrieus; a hunter and constellation. ἔστι δ ἐοικὸς ὀρειᾶν γε Πελειάδων μὴ τηλόθεν ωαρίωνα νεῖσθαι (N. 2.12) ἀλόχῳ ποτὲ θωραχθεὶς ἔπεχ' ἀλλοτρίᾳ ὠαρίων (sc. Meropae, Oenopionis filiae, vel potius uxori, Snell) fr. 72. testt., (cf. Schr., [1921], 470ff.) Hyginus, Astron., 2. 34, Aristomachus (Antimachus coni.
