ὕσσακος: ἢ ὕσσαξ, ὁ, ἑρμηνεύεται παρὰ τῷ Μεγ. Ἐτυμολόγ. 785, 8, καὶ τῷ Φωτ. διὰ τοῦ πάσσαλος, ἀλλ’ ἐν χρήσει εὕρηται ἐπὶ τοῦ γυναικείου αἰδοίου, εἶμ’ ὥστ’ ἀπ’ ὑσσάκω λυθεῖσα Ποιητ. Δωρ. παρ’ Ἡφαιστ. 28· ἀπήλαον τὼς ἄνδρας ἀπὸ τῶν ὑσσάκων Ἀριστοφ. Λυσ. 1001· ὡς φαίνεται ἡ λέξις εἶναι Δωρικ.
